In gratitude for and celebration of our outgoing leadership — Judy Briskin, Jonathan Cookler, Ari Eisenberg, Josh Feffer, Nancy Glaser, Daniel Gryczman, Sharon Janks, Dana Sayles, Jesse Sharf, and Avid Shooshani — and with extraordinary appreciation for Chair of the Board Julie Platt, General Campaign Chair Rochelle Cohen, and Vice Chair Frank Maas, we invite you to join us for a special reception in their honor and the exciting launch of our Federation’s new Julie Beren Platt Jewish Campership Fund.
We created the Julie Beren Platt Jewish Campership Fund to reflect Julie’s deep commitment to Jewish camping and our Federation. Working in concert with our Federation’s Jewish Camping Initiative — that she helped bring to life — and 13 local overnight summer camp partners, Julie has for years dedicated her energies to connecting kids to Jewish life through camping. The Fund will provide essential support for scholarships to make the invaluable Jewish camp experience accessible to more children in our community.
Gifts to The Julie Beren Platt Campership Fund will provide scholarships for children whose families are not able to send them to Jewish summer camp:
$5,000 — 4-Week Campership
$2,500 — 2-Week Campership
$1,000 — Partial Campership
