Gil Borok leads Colliers for the U.S. and Latin American (LATAM) regions, directing strategic initiatives and enhancing business performance. His focus is on driving Colliers’ growth, supporting its people, and delivering innovative solutions to clients.

Based in Los Angeles, Gil joined Colliers in 2017 as Chief Operating Officer for the U.S. and advanced to President & Chief Executive Officer in 2019. Before Colliers, he held key financial roles at CBRE Group, Inc., including Global Chief Financial Officer from 2010 to 2014. His background includes public accounting experience with a Big Four firm and as Controller & Chief Accounting Officer for Dole Food Company.

During Gil’s tenure, Colliers U.S. and LATAM have achieved revenue growth of 150% and more than doubled EBITDA. He fosters a culture of growth and innovation, investing in platforms and people to enhance client experiences and broaden service offerings. Gil’s emphasis on talent acquisition has led to a significant increase in producers generating more than $1 million annually, along with significant growth in multi-market teams and expansion into 15 new markets.

 

 

Ryan Krauch is a Partner at Affinius Capital, where he works closely with the CEO and senior leadership to guide the firm’s strategy, capital relationships, and investment decision-making. He is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee and serves on the Board of Directors of Affinius Capital LLC.

Ryan is deeply involved in the firm’s capital strategy and the advancement of new business initiatives across its equity, credit, and platform growth efforts. He plays a key role in major transactions and key institutional client relationships and is actively engaged in positioning the firm with global capital sources.

Immediately prior to joining Affinius Capital in 2021, Ryan served as a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley. Previously, he was one of the original principals at Mesa West Capital, where he helped build the firm into a leading commercial real estate credit platform and was instrumental in its sale to Morgan Stanley. Before Mesa West, Ryan led the joint venture equity acquisitions platform at Somera Capital Management, a value-add real estate private equity manager. Ryan started his career in business consulting with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Ryan graduated from Dartmouth College. He is active in the Urban Land Institute and Young Presidents’ Organization, and previously served as Chairman of the Board of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Managers and as a board member of the Defined Contribution Real Estate Council.

 

 

Robin Potts is an Investment Partner, Chief Investment Officer overseeing all real estate investment strategies, and a member of Canyon Partners’ Management Committee. Ms. Potts has been with Canyon since 2006 and leads the real estate investment team, holding a seat on each of the firm’s real estate Investment Committees. During her tenure at Canyon, Ms. Potts has facilitated the acquisition, financing, and development of commercial real estate transactions with a total capitalization of over ~$30 billion across all asset classes including multifamily, condominium, office, retail, hospitality, industrial, senior housing, student housing, self-storage, and mixed-use. Ms. Potts previously worked in the Financial Institutions Group of Credit Suisse in Los Angeles where she focused on equity, debt, and M&A transactions in the mortgage real estate investment trust sector. Ms. Potts is a graduate of Harvard University (B.A., Economics).

 

 

Andrew Kirsh is Co-Chairman of Sklar Kirsh LLP, Chair of the firm’s Real Estate Department, and a member of the Management Committee. Andrew is an experienced commercial real estate transactional attorney, whose clientele includes a broad spectrum of national, regional, and local investors, funds, developers, private equity providers, and lenders. Andrew’s practice involves all aspects of the real estate industry, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, equity investments, syndications, fund formation, financing, note purchases, and foreclosures.

Andrew began his career in the Los Angeles office of the global firm, Latham & Watkins, where he practiced from 2000-2006. He then assisted with the opening of the Century City office of another international firm, Goodwin Procter, where he practiced from 2006-2009. Andrew was a partner of the Beverly Hills firm, Raines Feldman, until 2013, when he opened Sklar Kirsh LLP with co-founding partner, Jeff Sklar.

Raised in Los Angeles, Andrew graduated Beverly Hills High School before attending Northwestern University, where he was a four-year varsity baseball player, earning Academic All-Big Ten Honors in each of his four years. After graduating college in 1997, Andrew attended Northwestern University School of Law and earned his JD in 2000.

Andrew is a Member of Young Presidents’ Organization – Malibu and Angeleno Chapters, and is a Board Member of the YPO Real Estate Network. In 2022, Andrew launched a weekly podcast, Real Talk: Real Estate Discussions, where he interviews industry leaders about today’s market, their backgrounds, and much more.

Andrew is active in the Los Angeles community – serving on the JFEDLA’s Real Estate Cabinet and serving on committees for Brentwood Country Club, The Village School, and Northwestern University.
