Leonard Dick is an Emmy-winning television writer and showrunner whose credits include iconic shows like LOST, HOUSE, THE GOOD WIFE, and TRUTH BE TOLD. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Leonard has also developed pilots for networks like HBO, FX, and Fox. In addition to his work writing and producing, he currently serves as a consultant for Netflix International, helping creators in other countries — including Denmark, Germany, Italy, and Saudi Arabia — develop their series ideas.
Jane Wiseman serves as Head of Originals for Paramount+, where she is responsible for leading the development and production of the platform's expansive slate of original content, including LANDMAN, MOBLAND, THE MADISON, DEXTER, YELLOWJACKETS, and recently greenlit series DISCRETION starring Nicole Kidman and Elle Fanning, 9/12 starring Jeremy Strong, and FEAR NOT starring Anne Hathaway.
Hilary Zaitz Michael is a Senior Partner, Agent, and Co-Department Head at WME in the agency’s Literary Media Department. In her role, she represents a range of bestselling and award-winning authors across fiction and nonfiction and works closely with studios, producers, and talent to adapt her clients’ work in Film and TV. Her roster includes Brandon Sanderson, Lev Grossman, Karin Slaughter, Rebecca Serle, Liz Moore, Matt Dinniman, Carmen Maria Machado, May Cobb, Riley Sager, Lauren Beukes, and Laura Lippman. Zaitz Michael joined WME in 2017 and was promoted to department head in 2024. Prior to WME, she served as Vice President of Michael London’s Groundswell Productions. She began as a financial analyst in New York for Morgan Stanley.
In 2021, she was featured on The Hollywood Reporter’s 35 Rising Executives 35 and Under. A graduate of Cornell University (undergraduate BS) and UCLA (graduate MFA), Zaitz Michael currently resides in Los Angeles with her family. Outside of the office, she supports various advocacy organizations and is passionate about storytelling in all its forms.
Debra Birnbaum is the editor-in-chief of Gold Derby, overseeing the website’s in-depth coverage and analysis of awards and entertainment news, encompassing film, television, music, and theater. She was previously the global head of awards for Amazon MGM Studios, leading awards strategy for the streaming service’s extensive slate of original films and series. Under her tenure, the studio set new records for nominations for Academy Awards, Emmy Awards, and Golden Globe Awards. She has also worked for Variety, TV Guide Magazine, Redbook, George, More, The New York Post, and Us Weekly. She has appeared frequently on TV as an entertainment expert, and moderated hundreds of panels for film and television festivals, industry and consumer events, and more. Her work has earned recognition from the L.A. Press Club, the Publicists Guild, the Webby Awards, and the Clio Awards, along with an Emmy Award.
