In honor of Jewish Disability Awareness and Inclusion Month, let’s join participants from Friendship Circle LA, an organization that supports and empowers children and youth with special needs, in the shared act of doing a mitzvah for others. Together, we’ll assemble hygiene kits for our unhoused neighbors and take part in projects that center dignity, compassion, and service. These experiences intentionally create space for participants to give to others — shifting the narrative from receiving help to being empowered helpers within the community.
