Ryan K. Burton is a Senior Vice President of Development for the Lendlease Los Angeles office. His current duties include leading Habitat, a mixed-use development at the La Cienega Metro Stop, comprised of 260 apartment units, 250,000-sf of office space, and a pedestrian plaza.

Ryan has over two decades of real estate investment and development experience, most recently at Lowe, overseeing the Ivy Station mixed-use project, a $400 million development project comprised of 200 apartments, a 148-key hotel, 240,000-sf of office space, and 47,000-sf of retail adjacent to the Culver City Metro Stop. Ryan had a leadership role in setting the strategy and execution of the project entitlements, design, financing, marketing, leasing, and operations.

Prior to Lowe, Ryan was a Development Manager at Clarett West Development, primarily developing Eastown, a $230 million mixed-use project with 535 apartments, 74,000-sf of retail, and four supergraphic signs on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (adjacent to the Hollywood and Vine Metro Stop), including financing, construction, marketing, lease-up, and operations. Ryan earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley’s Hass School of Business and his MBA from University of Southern California, serves on the Executive Committee for the Lusk Center for Real Estate at the USC, and is a past winner of the USC vs UCLA NAIOP Real Estate Challenge.

 

 

Matthew Isken leads acquisitions for Lendlease in the U.S. Western Region, with a current emphasis on deploying capital through the firm’s credit investment platform. A highlight of Matt’s tenure at Lendlease has been leading the acquisition of a 3.5-acre site in Los Angeles for Habitat, a transformative mixed-use development that will feature 260 residential units and 250,000-sf of office space.

A Los Angeles native, Matt has built his career within the city’s dynamic real estate landscape. Prior to joining Lendlease, he held key roles at The Kor Group, Tribune Real Estate Holdings, AEW Capital Management, and The Lighthouse Group. Matt earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University and holds an MBA from the University of Southern California. He remains actively engaged in the Los Angeles community, having served in volunteer leadership roles with City of Hope, the Westside Urban Forum board, and the Urban Land Institute.
