Paul Pepperman
2025 Ben-Gurion Award Recipient
Paul Pepperman’s involvement with both El Caballero Country Club and Jewish Federation Los Angeles began in 2008. His journey with the Federation started when he played in his first El Cab Golf Tournament, where he was introduced to the Federation's Men’s Night Out event and its Mission to Israel. Through these experiences, Paul and his amazing wife of 45 years, Jackie, formed lasting friendships with many El Cab members who, like them, participated in various Federation Missions to Israel, Cuba, Poland, Morocco, Germany, Austria, and China. Additionally, Paul has enjoyed participating in numerous Federation Men’s Missions across North America. Paul took great pride in his role as Co-Chair of the Valley Alliance Campaign and in his time on the Federation Board of Directors. He has also been a long-time member of the El Cab Golf Tournament Committee, and he is especially proud to be this year's recipient of the Ben-Gurion Award.
Professionally, Paul recently celebrated his 40th year as a Wealth Management Advisor at Merrill Lynch, where he serves as Senior Resident Director of the Encino office. He was named to the 2024 Forbes “Best-in-State Wealth Advisors” list and is a Certified Financial Planner with a Certified Investment Management Analyst designation from the Wharton School. Outside of work, Paul is deeply involved in the community. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Providence Tarzana Foundation and is a past President of Adat Ari El Synagogue. He is also a supporter of Los Angeles Jewish Health, the Scleroderma Foundation of California, and John Tracy Center.
A Valley native, Paul studied political science at UCLA, where he was a four-year NCAA varsity letterman in fencing. He and Jackie currently reside in Woodland Hills and are the proud parents of two daughters, Amy (married to Evan Greenburg) and Katie (married to Aaron Krass). They have four wonderful grandchildren: Oliver, Reese, Skyler, and Sienna.
