Special thanks to Jeanne and Tony Pritzker for underwriting the series as a loving tribute to Tony’s late mother, Susan S. Pritzker. The goal of the Pritzker series is to feature dynamic and educational presentations by top professionals, appealing to women of all stages of life.

A baker, chef, and full-time content creator, Sivan is a warm-hearted woman whose kitchen radiates with the inviting aroma of freshly baked challah. Her journey began in her parents' Jewish bakery where she first learned the art of challah baking, and her dedication to preserving this heritage is nothing short of inspiring.

Sivan’s is a story of passion, tradition, and the simple joy of baking and cooking. She is most grateful for the opportunity to showcase the ease and beauty of bringing Shabbat and Jewish food into the homes of her followers. Sivan will guide us through a hands-on cooking class where we’ll prepare a meal together, and then package it for those in need. Afterward, we’ll have lunch to enjoy the fruits of our labor.

We are proud that this event will be held at OBKLA, a Federation partner. OBKLA unites volunteers to cook meals for those facing hardship. These meals are then provided to social service organizations for distribution.

For questions, please contact Lauren Shorten at LShorten@JewishLA.org or (323) 761-8306.

We look forward to seeing you on October 15th.

Warmly,
