Mr. Schwartzman serves as president and chief executive of Harridge Development Group, which he founded in 2010. The company has over 4,000 lots and over 4,000 residential units in the greater Los Angeles area. Harridge Development is also building 960 residential units and 150,000-sf of retail at the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Mall. In November 2021, the company began the first phase of Crossroads Hollywood, which encompasses 700,000-sf of the 1.4 million-sf project. Most recently, Harridge Development acquired 292 lots in Oxnard in Mandalay Beach and 50 acres in Livermore.
In addition to his business enterprises, David is a generous supporter of organizations such as the University of Judaism, Therapeutic Living Centers for the Blind, the American Cancer Society, the Los Angeles Zoo, and Habitat for Humanity. In 2004, he was honored by the Hollywood/Los Angeles Beautification Team and received their Business Leader Recognition Award. David is also Chair of JFEDLA’s REC Network. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business.
