Our Honorees:
Amy Masor
2024 Rita Reznikoff Leadership Award Recipient
Amy Masor is the deserving recipient of the Sylvia Weisz Women’s Philanthropy Rita Reznikoff Award, which is presented to a woman who has demonstrated exemplary leadership in the Jewish community. She passionately supports the work of JFEDLA.
Amy has served on the Women’s Philanthropy Cabinet for over 30 years. She has been a Lion of Judah for over 25 years and received the Lion of Judah Ruby Award as well as the El Caballero Country Club’s Golda Award. Amy has traveled on many Federation missions. In 2018, she and her husband Harold dedicated a Unistream Center in Kiryat Malachi in the northern Negev region.
Amy is also involved with her synagogue Adat Ari El, with AIPAC, and is a lifetime member of Hadassah. In addition to her involvement in our Jewish community, she is a board member of Jacob Jonas The Company, a young contemporary dance company. Amy is most passionate about her handmade jewelry business, Amasor Jewelry.
Amy and Harold are the proud parents of Sarah (Edward), Elliot (Michelle), and Rebecca and have four wonderful grandchildren.
Stacey Jasper
2024 Doris Factor Leadership Award Recipient
Stacey (Janks) Jasper grew up in Los Angeles, attending Milken Community School and spending her summers at Camp Ramah in California. After earning her degree in History and Middle Eastern Studies at George Washington University, she moved back to L.A. to complete a Master’s in Teaching from USC and a Master’s in Education from American Jewish University. Stacey began her teaching career at her alma mater, Milken, where she taught history — combining her love of learning with her passion for working with students. Eventually, she transitioned to Geffen Academy at UCLA, where she now serves as the Middle School Academic Dean.
Stacey is committed to giving back to the Jewish community. She currently serves as the Jewish Life and Learning Vice-Chair for the Jewish Federations of North America's National Young Leadership Cabinet and is a proud member of the Caring for Jews in Need Committee at JFEDLA. Stacey also contributes her time to the Lion of Judah Luncheon Committee and the International Lion of Judah Conference Committee. At Sinai Akiba Academy, she serves on the Education and Development Committees and is thrilled to be co-chairing the Sinai Akiba Annual Fund this year.
Stacey grew up with incredible parents, Sharon and Leon, who modeled their own dedication to philanthropy and the Jewish community. She is honored to pass these values on to her own children, Sam and Zoe, raising them with rich Jewish values, a deep love for Israel, and a strong commitment to giving back. Stacey and her husband, Eric, feel grateful for the opportunity to nurture these values as a family.
