Alex Edelman’s hit solo show Just For Us wrapped its Broadway run at the Hudson Theatre this past August. A two-time New York Times Critics’ Pick, this show was originally performed at Cherry Lane Theatre before moving to Greenwich House Theater and SoHo Playhouse. His recent performances of Just For Us in Los Angeles at the Mark Taper Forum were very successful, selling out houses during both its initial 20-performance run in November, as well as its week-long extension in December. Alex returned to Los Angeles again in March for a special week-long return engagement. He will also appear in Jerry Seinfeld’s directorial debut for Netflix, Unfrosted, which stars Jerry, Melissa McCarthy, Jim Gaffigan, Amy Schumer, Hugh Grant, and more. Alex is currently developing a movie with A24 that he will write, direct, and star in with Marc Platt and Steven Levenson producing. His debut non-fiction novel I Don’t Belong Here was recently sold to Avid Reader at auction. HBO will premiere Just For Us as a special in 2024.
