Emotional Intelligence is the ability to identify, understand, and manage our own emotions and the emotions of others. We invite parents of teens to join us for a free workshop on “EQ,” offered by our Federation’s Los Angeles Jewish Teen Initiative (LAJTI) Focus on Teen Wellness.

Led by Jorge Cherbosque, PhD, Co-director of Staff and Faculty Counseling Center at UCLA and Co-founder of the Emotional Intelligence and Diversity Institute in Los Angeles, this workshop will help you:

  • Develop new awareness to better understand our own reactions to our teens
  • Teach how not to get emotionally hijacked when powerful feelings are triggered
  • Present strategies and coping skills to model for our teens
  • Discuss how to be the social architect of your home to support a positive emotional climate

Light refreshments will be served.

Space is limited and reservations are required — RSVP today!
