Talia Goldstein is the Founder and former CEO of Three Day Rule — a company that has successfully scaled a unique human-touch approach to the evergreen pain-point of dating and matchmaking. Goldstein had worked as a television producer when she quickly realized she had become the office dating expert — setting up co-workers with matches and handing out dating insights from her cubicle. Recognizing her hidden talent, Talia quit her full-time job and began scaling it — first by hosting events and then offering personalized matchmaking services. In an age where online dating is the norm, her company leverages tech while offering a refreshingly analog human touch — requiring candidates to meet members of her team in person before any matchmaking services are offered. After receiving an investment from Match/IAC in 2014, Goldstein has secured partnerships with Match, OkCupid, JDate, Christian Mingle and The League. In January 2019, Three Day Rule was acquired by a private investor.

Bryan Lalezarian is the former CEO of MeUndies and currently serves as an advisor to the company, where he has been instrumental in disrupting the $110 billion dollar underwear industry and growing MeUndies, a modest startup into a highly successful underwear company that has sold 12 million units and counting. Following his time at MeUndies, Mr. Lalezarian has turned his disruptive lens toward another industry in desperate need of disruption: toothpaste. As Advisor of Bite Toothpaste Bits, Mr. Lalezarian seems to eradicate the plastic problem associated with traditional toothpaste models by offering zero waste toothpaste tablets with compostable refills.

David Daneshgar is the Co-Founder of BloomNation, an online floral market boasting 3,500+ florists in its network, delivering to 5,000+ cities in the United States. In 2010, while attending the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Daneshgar co-founded the online floral marketplace BloomNation with Farbod Shoraka and Gregg Weisstein. A former professional poker player, Mr. Daneshgar won a two-day poker tournament in Los Angeles that gave the company enough seed funding to create a beta version of the marketplace and establish proof of concept. BloomNation has since raised $1.65 million in seed funding led by Andreessen Horowitz with participation from Spark Capital, Chicago Ventures and CrunchFund.

Saul Rostamian is a partner at Winston & Strawn, in its Los Angeles office. He is the chief legal strategist to a slew of tech companies, other operating companies, as well as the private investment firms and family offices owning or investing in them.  His role centers on risk management and providing creative solutions in a wide variety of matters ranging from deals to disputes, drawing on the firm’s broad base of specialists.  He has strategically resolved complex disputes short of litigation, and, where necessary, litigated high-stakes matters through trial and appeal.  He has also guided his clients through complex corporate matters at the core of the companies he represents.

JTECH, The L.A. Jewish Tech Network, engages Jewish tech and VC leaders in the Los Angeles community and serves as a convening to spark philanthropy in support of the Federation’s impactful work.
