Raul Anaya
Raul Anaya is Bank of America’s president of Business Banking, one of Bank of America’s eight lines of business, and is a member of the company’s executive management team. He leads a nationwide team that serves mid-sized U.S.-based companies with annual revenues between $5 million and $50 million, by delivering strategic financial advice and solutions to help companies grow, improve cash flow, and invest for the future. Active in the business community, he serves on the boards of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce (past chair), the AltaMed Health Services Foundation (current chair), The Huntington Library, Art Museum and Botanical Gardens, UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital, and the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Latino in Washington D.C.
Kevin Crummy
Kevin Crummy is the chief investment officer at Douglas Emmett. He oversees the company’s capital markets transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures. Since joining Douglas Emmett in August 2014, he and the capital markets team have closed over $3 billion in acquisitions, growing the office portfolio from 15.1 million to 18.2 million square feet and the multi-family portfolio to over 5,000 units. Prior to joining Douglas Emmett in 2014, he spent 20 years at Eastdil Secured, a real estate investment banking company, where he was a managing director responsible for sales and recapitalizations in Los Angeles, Hawaii, and other major West Coast markets. He also led the Eastdil secured team that sourced Asian-based capital for real estate transactions in the United States and Europe. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin School of Business.
Stephanie Pfaff
Stephanie Pfaff is an associate at DLA Piper who concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial transactions, real estate, transactional tax planning and real estate tax matters, including all aspects of California documentary transfer tax and property tax, qualified opportunity zones, transactional tax and real estate matters, like-kind exchange transactions, renewable energy projects, including tax equity financings, and formation of tax-exempt organizations. She also advises clients in transactional tax and real estate matters for estate planning trusts and family-owned businesses, private foundations, and public charities. Her background as corporate counsel allows her to bring a client perspective to each client matter, as well as giving her the ability to analyze multiple issues surrounding her clients' transactional needs.
Jerry Neuman
Jerry Neuman is the head of Real Estate and Land Use Practice at DLA Piper. He represents individuals and companies looking to obtain local government licenses, permits, rights, or contracts. Respected for obtaining governmental approvals and public participation for many of the largest development projects in California as well as securing government rights and contracts for large and small companies, he has extensive experience in complex regulatory and legislative issues. He is and has been the lead negotiator and project coordinator for many of Southern California’s most important real estate, green energy, infrastructure, and governmental procurement projects. His experience includes obtaining environmental clearances pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Beyond his civic engagement, he is also a founding director of Mission Valley Bank and is on the executive boards of many of the most important commercial and charitable organizations in Los Angeles.
