Many of us have been led to believe that a life is complete only if shared with a romantic partner. But in a world where our connections are superficial, relationships are flaky, and another date is just a swipe away, is this even still desirable, let alone possible?
On Singles Awareness Night (aka Valentine’s Day), we will gather over a delicious Shabbat dinner to explore what love really means in a time of Insta-macy, learn what our tradition can teach out about healthyrelationships, and discover if the path to true happiness may actually lie within ourselves.
*While this experience is open to everyone, please be aware the focus will be on relationships that occur within a heterosexual context. We would love to create similar LGBTQ+ focused experiences in the future, if you are interested in helping with this please email Chelsea Snyder at csnyder@jewishla.org.
