Our Federation is committed to equipping professionals with the tools and understanding to create learning environments that support children with special needs and learning difficulties. As an early childhood education professional, you are invited to join us on Monday, February 11th, for a Matan workshop that will teach the essentials of inclusion for implementation in Jewish schools throughout L.A.
Presented by Meredith Polsky and pediatric occupational therapist Roxanne S. Benjamin, this session will explore the relationship between sensory processing, modulation, and organization of behavior, and their impact on children’s functional development. You will also learn how to incorporate strategies in the early childhood classroom to facilitate the sensory-motor development of all children and provide additional support to children with sensory processing challenges.
With two tracks geared toward your level of experience, every participant will leave with practical, applicable information.
Lunch provided. Dietary laws observed.
