Get over the end-of-summer blues with our September Community Book Read!

We invite you to read Dr. Shefali Tsabary’s book The Awakened Family: A Revolution in Parenting and meet up with us to discuss! The conversations will be facilitated by Inez Tiger, Director of Wellness at The Rabbi Jacob Pressman Academy of Temple Beth Am.

To participate in the Community Book Read:

  • If you don’t already have it, buy The Awakened Family or pick up a copy at your local library.
  • Jot down or underline parts of the book that challenge, inspire, or speak to you!
  • Sign up for one of our two FREE facilitated book chats:
    1. Tuesday, September 17th, 7:00-9:00 PM — private home in the City*
    2. Monday, September 23rd, 7:00-9:00 PM — private home in the West Hills*

*Addresses provided with confirmation

No time to read but still want to join the chat? We know many of you may be swamped with back to school. We still encourage you to join the conversation! Feel free to listen to Dr. Shefali on Oprah SuperSoul Sunday to get a taste of what the author has to say.
