It’s hard to know how to help when we sense our teens are anxious or depressed. In this FREE, insightful, and practical workshop, led by Jocelyn Meza, Ph.D.* and Tamar Kodish, M.A.** from The Youth Stress and Mood Program at UCLA, parents will learn positive, strengths-based approaches to better communicate with and support their teens. They will learn to distinguish between typical teen behaviors and clinical symptoms of anxiety and depression. Highlights will include a focus on strategies to strengthen parents’ relationships with their teens and mindfulness skills to increase well-being. In addition, we’ll explore how Jewish values can support positive parenting. Participants will come away with many resources and tools.
Light refreshments will be served.
Space is limited and reservations are required — RSVP today!
