On May 26th, join artist educators Shari Davis and Benny Ferdman in a virtual family workshop to create colorful metal amulets. Traditional charms used for centuries in Jewish communities around the world, amulets are believed to bring protection, luck, and blessings. In this workshop, teens and adults will make their own vibrant, decorative amulet, tracing and embossing folk art designs into soft metal and adding bright color to illuminate and adorn the token.
