Jason Illoulian
Jason Illoulian is the Chief Executive Officer of Faring. Under Jason’s leadership, Faring oversees the development and investment of assets across its housing, industrial, and commercial platforms. The company’s current development pipeline spans over 2,000 residential units, 6,000,000 square feet of industrial space, and over 1,000,000 square feet of infill mixed-use projects located along high streets in Southern California.
After attending Harvard-Westlake, Jason graduated from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, the Emory University School of Law, and the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University. Before launching Faring, Jason was a Legal Scholar at the US Department of Housing and Urban Development Office of Counsel.
Jeffrey Jaeger
Jeffrey E. Jaeger is the Co-Founder and Principal of Standard Communities. Mr. Jaeger is responsible for all facets of investments, asset management, construction, financial structuring, and the strategic direction of Standard Communities. Under Mr. Jaeger’s leadership, Standard has become one of the 50 largest affordable housing owners in the country, with a portfolio of over 80 deals totaling more than13,800 units.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Jaeger has played an essential role in the acquisition, management, disposition, and financing of real estate transactions with a capitalization of more than $5 billion.
Active in the Los Angeles philanthropic community, Mr. Jaeger is a current Board Member and Co-Founder of Housing on Merit, a California-based non-profit focused on creating a bridge to permanent affordable housing for vulnerable populations. Mr. Jaeger is also a current Board Member of Inner-City Arts, one of the nation’s most effective arts-education providers located in the heart of Skid Row, Los Angeles. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
Rachel Rosner
Rachel Rosner is a partner in the Los Angeles Office of Bocarsly Emden Cowan Esmail & Arndt LLP. Her practice focuses on real estate finance with an emphasis on tax-advantaged structures and urban infill development. Rachel represents developers, equity investors, and tax credit syndicators involved with affordable housing and community development projects across the United States. She has extensive experience working on developments financed with Federal and State Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Tax-Exempt Private Activity Bonds, Opportunity Zone benefits, local tax increment funds, and other similar sources.
Rachel is the past President of the Board of Directors of the Southern California Association of Nonprofit Housing and she is a Vice Chair and member of the Advisory Council for the Real Estate and Construction Network of The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles. She has been recognized for helping to establish an affordable housing law clinic and serves as a guest lecturer at UCLA Law School and the UCLA Levine Program in Housing and Social Responsibility.
Rachel earned her Juris Doctor from Washington University in St. Louis, where she served as Senior Editor of the Washington University Law Review, and her Bachelor of Arts degree from the honors program at the University of Maryland. Rachel lives in Encino with her husband Jesse Gabriel – a member of the California State Assembly – and their sons Ethan, Joshua, and Noah.
