Senior Prom

Exclusively for teen volunteers and hosted in partnership with the Westside Jewish Community Center, we’ll dance with local seniors, eat, and share photos. Feel free to dress for the prom!

PATH

Parking: We strongly advise you to carpool! There is limited parking on weekends. Some street parking is available on 4th or Washington.

Young adult volunteers ages 25-40, join us at PATH’s Family Solutions Center to help with a remodeling project — we’ll help build, clean, decorate, and organize the Center for its single women residents and their children. All occupants are single mothers between the ages of 18 and 24, so your work to brighten their living and communal spaces will bring much joy to them and their kids!

If you have toolkits/tools at home, please bring them with you for use. You are also welcome to bring a gift card or art supplies as a gift to the families to be used in this space.

Restrictions: Volunteers must be ages 25-40. Please wear closed-toe shoes and clothing suitable for building and cleaning.

West Valley Food Pantry

Time: 10:00 AM–12:30 PM

Help ensure that the Food Pantry, a coalition of synagogues and churches in the West Valley serving the surrounding homeless population, is well stocked for the season. Volunteers will help create hygiene kits and scarves for the winter. Please feel free to bring any food items for donation.

Restrictions: Volunteers must be 8+ and accompanied by an adult.

Heal the Bay

Address: Group meets in Lot 4 South located on the south side of Hotel Casa del Mar — 1910 Ocean Way, Santa Monica 90405. We are not associated with the hotel — please find the Federation group near the restrooms west of the parking lot.
Time: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM

Join us to volunteer with Heal the Bay for a day of beach cleanup! We’ll be down at Santa Monica Beach, picking up those pieces of trash that often get overlooked but pose a danger to ocean animals and our environment.
