Elizabeth R. Glasgow, Partner at Venable LLP, concentrates her practice on estate planning and wealth management. She works with business owners, entrepreneurs, real estate investors, and other high-net worth individuals to implement strategies that maximize the preservation of wealth by mitigating income, estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes and managing the exposure of a family’s wealth and business assets to future creditors. Elizabeth frequently works with clients to integrate asset protection strategies, business succession planning, and charitable giving structures into their estate plan to achieve their goals of a comprehensive wealth preservation and transfer plan. Her practice also includes tax planning for non-U.S. citizens contemplating residency in the United States.

Rachel T. Cain, CPWA®, CRPC®, has been with Merrill Lynch for 17 years. Over this period, she has worked with dozens of clients and their families, including next generations — educating, customizing, and advising on wealth management, estate planning strategies, long term care insurance and life insurance, asset allocation, investment, and risk management. Her mission is to provide her clients with the best path to wealth accumulation, retention, and transfer of assets by creating and implementing strategies that are tailored to their unique goals. She is driven to provide her clients with uncluttered, professional advice that enhances their quality of life and leads to sustained and actionable solutions. She believes the team delivers something rare and valuable — in-depth risk management, resulting in solutions based upon the client’s risk tolerance, time horizon, liquidity needs, and overall investment goals.

Rachel also has experience helping clients with access to commercial banking and financing strategies from Bank of America, N.A., managing concentrated stock positions or dealing with the challenges of important transition events like retirement, divorce, inheritance, or the sale of a business. In addition, she works with clients’ attorneys, accountants, and other advisors on issues such as estate and tax needs.

Rachel is an experienced mountain climber and hiker and enjoys riding horses, rock climbing, and participating in triathlons. She received her B.A. in International Relations and Russian Studies from Lehigh University and her MBA from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. Rachel and her husband Phil reside in Agoura Hills with their son Blake.
