Federation Initiative: Homecare for Holocaust Survivors
We give our survivors care and human kindness. The Jewish Federation is committed to improving the financial, psychosocial, and physical well-being of the approximately 10,000 low-income Holocaust survivors in Los Angeles, most of whom are over the age of 85 and without support networks. The Federation ensures critical homecare services (at no cost) for approximately 450 survivors through our partnership with Jewish Family Service (JFS), and we intend to grow this number to meet the increasing demand.
