Rachel Bloom

Rachel Bloom is best known as the star of the CW musical dramedy Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, which she co-created and executive produced alongside Aline Brosh McKenna. For her performance as Rebecca Bunch, Rachel won the 2016 Golden Globe, Critics’ Choice Award, and TCA Award. In addition to award nominations for later seasons, she is also a four-time Emmy nominee for both the songwriting for Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and her past writing work on the Adult Swim sketch series Robot Chicken.

In 2018, she starred in the SXSW comedy Most Likely to Murder. She recently voiced the role of Batgirl in Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and joined the cast of Angry Birds 2, to be released later this year. Her TV guest star credits include roles in Portlandia, The Simpsons, iZombie, How I Met Your Mother, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Muppet Babies, and Robot Chicken.

Rachel has been profiled on covers for Allure and Bustle and prominently featured in The New York Times Magazine, Elle, Entertainment Weekly, Time, Psychology Today, Fast Company, Glamour, O Magazine, and Backstage, to name a few.

She recently performed two sold-out shows at Radio City Music Hall and the Hollywood Palladium.

She got her start performing at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and, before Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, self-released two albums of comedy music.

Rachel currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband, writer/director Dan Gregor, and their dog Wiley.

 

 

Rita Reznikoff Women’s Leadership Award

Kathy Guccione

Kathy Guccione is a longtime supporter of The Jewish Federation, first joining the Cabinet of Women’s Philanthropy in 2006. Since, she has served as Women’s Campaign Chair and, from 2016-2017, Sylvia Weisz Women’s Philanthropy Co-Chair along with Debi Graboff. Currently, she is a member of the Federation’s Board of Directors and Co-Chair of its Major Gifts Society. Kathy is also a National Women’s Philanthropy Board member and sits on the board of Career Up Now. Her passion for the work of the Federation has led her to participate in several missions, including the Women’s Missions of 2007, 2008, 2013, and 2017; the Centennial Mission to Israel, where she was joined by her husband Michael; and, most recently, the JFNA Mission to India as part of the Los Angeles contingent. With one of her daughters, Kathy owns Pinot’s Palette locations in Valencia and Encino. Kathy’s other daughter is a rabbi in New York, and she and Michael have two sons. In addition, she is the proud grandmother of seven granddaughters.

 

 

Doris Factor Women’s Leadership Award Honoree

Debi Graboff

Debi Graboff has been involved in The Jewish Federation for many years. She has held a myriad of positions on the Sylvia Weisz Women’s Philanthropy Cabinet, most recently serving as Co-Chair along with Kathy Guccione from 2016-2017. She is a member of the Board of Directors of The Jewish Federation and Co-Chair of the Community Leadership Institute. She was also Co-Chair of the Major Gifts Society Dinner. Debi is a family law mediator and consultant. She and her husband Marc live in Pacific Palisades and have two married daughters, a son, and a one-year-old granddaughter.
