Join us at our free Front Line Responders Workshop on Addressing Trauma Following Natural or Man-made Disasters on Wednesday, June 12th, as together we explore theory, experiential learning, and practical steps surrounding trauma in a variety of communal settings.
Keynote address will be given by Dr. Joseph Bobrow, Ph.D., discussing Responding to Collective Trauma, followed by presentations from guest speakers Lucy Rimalower, LMFT, on the topic of Practicing Resilience with Children Facing Trauma, and Lauren Ludlow, MSSA, on Framing Trauma to Individuals with Special Needs.
A supplementary session will be led by guest speaker Jason Periard, Vice President, Community Security Initiative, The Jewish Federation, who will discuss Lessons from the Front: Common Security Issues at Jewish Organizations.

Front line responders are staff who provide information and referrals to community members, including those who may address inquiries as an informal part of their work. We encourage participation by synagogue staff, school administrators, agency managers, program coordinators, social workers, administrative assistants, and all others who may be interested in attending.
