Join us at our free Front Line Responders Workshop on Thursday, December 6th, as together we shed light on mental illness — its impact on the Jewish family and how to recognize and destigmatize it. We will also learn about available resources and tools to support individuals and families struggling with mental health issues and help them shift from shame to hope and resilience.
Keynote address will be given by Dr. Bonnie Goldstein from the Lifespan Psychological Center — West Los Angeles, followed by presentations from the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and mental health resources from Federation partner organizations Jewish Family Service and Bet Tzedek.
Schedule:
- 8:30 AM: Registration and Kosher Breakfast
- 8:45 AM-12:30 PM: Program
RSVP by December 3rd.
Front line responders are staff who provide information and referrals to community members, including those who may address inquiries as an informal part of their work. We encourage participation by synagogue staff, school administrators, agency managers, program coordinators, social workers, administrative assistants, and all others who may be interested in attending.
