Join us and our partners, Repair the World LA and HIAS, for an evening of conversation and connection focused on personal refugee stories.
Hear from courageous individuals as they share their stories, learn about what Los Angeles is doing to support this community, and find out ways you can take action.
Speakers include Joe Goldman, HIAS Community Engagement Director, Western Region; David Kebede, whose family fled Ethiopia; Priscilla Schneider, whose family fled Hungary; and Sam Yebri, whose family fled Iran. Don’t miss these gripping accounts of the lengths people will go to secure a better life for themselves and their families. Also, learn about the ways our community is living out our Jewish values through involvement in this worthy cause.
