Participate in a variety of service projects, including gardening, karaoke, and making cards for firefighters.

Please feel free to bring a can of food to be donated to JFS { SOVA and/or a pair of new gardening gloves for Shemesh Farms.

Nes Gadol with B’nai David at Vista del Mar

Time: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM

Volunteers of all ages and abilities, prepare for Purim by assembling gratitude gift baskets for firefighters and first responders, assist with a costume party and parade, and make lunch bags for the homeless.

Please feel free to bring donations of tuna (with pop-up lids), toothbrushes, toothpaste, and/or hand sanitizer.

Parking: Available on site
Restrictions: Volunteers should be comfortable with individuals with severe autism symptoms.

ETTA

Make no-sew fleece blankets to be donated to ETTA and the Guardians of the Los Angeles Jewish Home.

Parking: Parking available on the street and in back. Enter through the front door.
Restrictions: Volunteers must be 11 years or older.

The Miracle Project with Beit Bracha

For young adults ages 25-40, enjoy an interactive day at Sinai Temple that will include theater games, musical performances, and costume preparation with individuals of all abilities.

Parking: Available in the Sinai Temple lot
Restrictions: Volunteers must be 25 years or older.

 
KEEN LA

Time: 1:00–4:00 PM

Join us at Sinai Temple as we assist with a special Sunday basketball session for children with special needs. KEEN LA works to empower youth with disabilities by providing free, volunteer coach-led, non-competitive one-to-one programs of exercise, fitness, and fun.

Parking: Available in the Temple Sinai Lot. Entrance on Ashton Street. Please allow time for security check and parking and for a 1:00 PM PROMPT start time.
Restrictions: Volunteers must be 15 years or older and physically able to help run sports activities. Space is extremely limited. We strongly encourage you to wear appropriate clothing for outdoor sports activities. Due to recent events, Sinai Temple's security has been on high alert, so we ask that you are patient while they do their job.
