In partnership with Heal the Bay’s Adopt-A-Beach program, the Federation has committed to help clean up Santa Monica beach this year, and members of YALA – Young Adults of Los Angeles (volunteers ages 22-40) are invited to join us.
The morning won’t just be about volunteering together at the beach! If you’re between 29-40 and interested in learning more about the L.A. cohort of National Young Leadership Cabinet (NYLC), Jewish Federation of North America’s premier leadership program, you will want to stay and grab brunch with all of our current Cabinet members. NYLC brings together aspiring young philanthropists and volunteer leaders to explore ways to address local, national, and global community needs.

Join us to see animals up close and bust out your gardening skills at the Wildlife Waystation!
A few notes:
- Please bring your own gloves if you have them.
- Wear a hat and sturdy boots.
- Volunteers must be age 18 or older.
- If you would like to stay for a tour of the Waystation, please bring a picnic lunch to enjoy beforehand from 12:00-12:30 PM.
- Water and dessert will be provided for you.
