Please remember the following essentials:

• Please arrive promptly at 8:00 AM for orientation. We will begin orientation when all participants arrive.
• Please wear closed-toe, rubber-soled, flat shoes when working in the kitchen. No sandals.
• Wear comfortable clothes (No cutoff t-shirts/exposed midriffs, cap sleeves or tank tops, please) — shorts are okay when working in the kitchen.
• No hanging jewelry.
• You will need to cover your head, so either bring a baseball cap or we will provide you with a hairnet.

You are also welcome to bring donations of candles, t-shirts, coffee, tea, mugs, soaps, lotions, books, candy, picture frames, CDs, DVDs, pens, notepads, toiletries, and any seasonal items. Project Angel Food uses these donations to provide clients with a very special birthday bag each year. These bags really brighten clients’ spirits and are often the only remembrance of their special day.

The challah made at this event will be donated to the Israel Levin Senior Center on the Venice boardwalk for their senior community.
