Join us for our annual Hannukah Candle Lighting — this year as part of the national Shine a Light initiative to raise awareness about antisemitism through education, community partnerships, workplace engagement, and advocacy. Together, we will stand with civic partners and community leaders to spotlight ways to address antisemitism and all forms of hate.

The still-in-formation list of elected officials and community leaders set to appear includes County Supervisor Kathryn Barger; Mayor Eric Garcetti; City Attorney Mike Feuer; City Councilmembers Bob Blumenfield, Paul Koretz, John Lee, and Nithya Raman; County Assessor Jeffrey Prang; and Capri Maddox, Executive Director, LA Civil and Human Rights and Equity Department.

Our COVID guidelines:

We have continually cited the safety of our staff as our guiding principle in our reopening plans at 6505 Wilshire and have required proof of vaccination from our employees. For the safety of both our employees and the community, we wish to ensure all who gather for meetings and functions are fully vaccinated. All guests will be required to furnish proof of vaccination prior to or on the date of the event by uploading their cards to JewishLA.org/eform. Those whose proof of vaccination is already on file with the Federation do not need to take further action. Thank you for your consideration of our safety protocols.

Through The Jewish Federation’s Community Engagement initiative, we bring together leaders from different backgrounds and perspectives to learn and work together on important issues in Los Angeles and Israel, promoting civil discourse and helping the Federation strengthen our community.
