You’re invited to spend an intimate evening with like-minded women to experience Summer Wheat’s Catch and Release exhibit as we explore the themes of transformation, creativity, and female strength. Join us for a walk-through of the exhibition and a fireside chat with Shulamit Nazarian in her artistic space. Together, we will discover different voices through art and connection.
Summer Wheat’s paintings present a tradition in which women were the original hunters, technologists, and artists, and Catch and Release continues her exploration of this archetype and its many variations.
Snacks and spritzers provided.

For over 20 years, Shulamit Nazarian has been an advocate for artists, art education, and the creative community in the United States and abroad.
Her gallery presents a diverse program featuring a range of local and international contemporary artists working across mediums while engaging community, locally and beyond, through exhibitions, art fairs, performances, artist and curator talks, and exhibition catalogs. The gallery's program is rooted in the belief that artistic and curatorial practice plays a vital role in catalyzing cultural dialogue while shaping our understanding of individual identity and social contexts.
