We invite you to join us, and our partner Repair the World Los Angeles, as we take part in a global day of service – Good Deeds Day – on Sunday, April 16th, 2023.
Good Deeds Day started in Israel with the simple idea that even the smallest positive action can change the world for the better. We are offering two ways for you to participate in this empowering celebration of service.
- Heal the Bay: Help us clean Venice Beach by picking up trash that often gets overlooked but poses a danger to ocean animals and our environment.
- Volunteer for Seniors at LA Jewish Health (LAJH): Bring a little joy to a cherished segment of our community. Join us as we prepare two LAJH locations to celebrate Yom Ha'atzmaut (Israel’s Independence Day). We'll make and hang decorations, share an Israeli snack, and give seniors the gift of quality time.
10:30 AM - 12:30 PM at Venice Beach
10:00 AM - 11:30 AM at LAJH
Location info shared with registrants in advance of the event
Participants of all ages are welcome to join us to clean up Venice Beach. Our LAJH event is open to participants ages 6+ with parental supervision. Please note that all LAJH volunteers must be vaccinated and follow all current LAJH protocols. Information on compliance will be sent to all registrants the week prior to the event.
