David and Nathan Hochman
Longtime Federation supporters, David and Nathan Hochman together served as co-chairs of the Legal Division, and Nathan sat on the Federation’s Board of Directors. Their continued involvement in the Division is extensive and valued.
David HochmanAs a partner at the law firm Wolf, Rifkin, Shapiro, Schulman & Rabkin LLP, David specializes in counseling and advising his clients in business and personal legal needs. Outside of his Federation commitment, he is a member of the Board of Councilors of the Price School of Public Policy at USC and the Board of Governors of Cedars Sinai Medical Center, and, along with his wife Amy, current national chair of the Israel Sports Center for the Disabled. David also sits on the Board of the Brent Shapiro Foundation. He is past chair of the Gooden Center and served as special advisor to Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca and was a past board member of American Jewish Committee.
Nathan HochmanNathan is deputy chair of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius’ White Collar Litigation and Government Investigations practice and one of the country’s leading white collar criminal defense and tax litigation attorneys. He represents individuals and corporations in complex, high-stakes civil and criminal investigations, enforcement matters, and trials. Prior to this role, he served as head of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Tax Division and was also a former Assistant United States Attorney for the Central District of California. In addition to his professional pursuits, Nathan is the former President of the Los Angeles City Ethics Commission and has been a board member of American Jewish University, American Technion Society, American Jewish Committee, and The Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles.
