David Jacobs
2019 Ben-Gurion Award Recipient
From a young age, David was instilled with the value of community and giving back. He has been actively involved with The Jewish Federation for over 15 years and has served on the El Caballero Federation Golf Tournament Committee since 2004, co-chairing the event on 4 occasions.
He has also had the pleasure of co-chairing Federation’s Super Sunday twice and its Jewish Business Leaders (JBL) for the last seven years. In 2010, he was honored to receive the Ratner Young Men’s Award and represent the Los Angeles Jewish Federation at the General Assembly in New Orleans. He has travelled on many Federation missions, including the Centennial Anniversary Mission to Israel in 2011.
David is also actively involved with a number of other charitable organizations including The Executives of the Los Angeles Jewish Home, the Anti-Defamation League and the El Cab Foundation.
David is a Partner at Navalign Wealth Partners in Encino and is known for his straightforward approach and reputation as a relentless advocate for his clients. In 2002, when he co-founded Navalign and started practicing as an independent financial advisor, he dropped all of his brokerage sales licenses to become a “Fee-Only” fiduciary, a rarity at the time. Navalign serves families and businesses in 4 key areas: Financial Planning, Investment Services, Retirement Planning and 401(k)/Pension Plans.
David is a graduate of Cornell University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He resides in Woodland Hills with his wife Susanna and daughter Jocelyn.
