For refugees, starting over in a new country isn’t easy. That’s why our Federation and Repair the World Los Angeles have partnered with Miry’s List, an organization that provides a mechanism for people to assist newly arrived refugee families with the challenges of resettlement.

Help set up our new neighbors to thrive by joining us for an important Community Service Day on Sunday, September 10th from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM. We will assemble School Readiness Kits for resettling students and English learners to welcome them and their families into their new communities.

The first 12 – 18 months in this country are often an extremely difficult time for refugees. We can help ease their burden by supporting their educational needs at our upcoming Community Service Day.
