The Jewish Federation and our partner Repair the World LA invite you to join us on Sunday, September 11th from 10:00AM - 12:00 PM for our next Community Service Day. We’ll be assembling kits full of art supplies for youth experiencing homelessness served by the Healing Arts Program at Safe Place for Youth (SPY).
This vital program gives youth a safe environment for exploration. Creative expression in a judgement-free space provides a healing outlet for young people burdened by trauma. Youth who participate in programs like these are more likely to pursue education and employment opportunities, therapy and supportive services, as well as secure permanent housing.
Please feel free to bring a NEW box of colored pencils or markers to donate to SPY's access center.
