Decorate and fill planters for Tu B’Shevat at ETTA. Keep your own and assist participants with special needs with making theirs!

 

Friendship Circle Los Angeles

Parking: Available in the lot in the back and on the surrounding streets.
Restrictions: Volunteers must be 18 years or older


Join kids with diverse abilities in several hands-on experiences in honor of the Tu B’Shevat holiday.

 

Jewish Family Service { Chaverim

Parking: Lot behind the building
Restrictions: Volunteers of all ages are welcome!


Help make comforting welcome kits for the young children and teenagers living in the JFS { Hope residential shelter. Each package contains age-appropriate items with an encouraging note to lift residents’ spirits.

 

Shemesh Farms at Shalom Institute

Address: 34342 Mulholland Hwy, Malibu 90265
Time: 10:00 AM-12:30 PM
Parking: Available on site.
Restrictions: Volunteers should be old enough to work the land and handle shovels.


Join us for a hands-on gardening activity! We’ll remove non-native plants and plant a small herb and spice garden.

Please feel free to bring a pair of NEW gardening gloves for Shemesh Farms.

   

 

ZOOZ Fitness

Address: 17650 Ventura Boulevard, Encino 91316
Time: 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
Each volunteer may choose from one of the following sessions:

  1. 9:00-10:00 AM – kids with special needs
  2. 10:00-11:00 AM – teens with special needs
  3. 11:00 AM-12:00 PM – adults with special needs


Parking: The parking lot can be accessed from Ventura Blvd. or White Oak Ave. If coming from Ventura, pull all the way through the parking lot to the back where you will find our ZOOZ spaces or other open spaces. If coming from White Oak, feel free to park anywhere in the back except where there are signs for Lum Ka Naad, which is the restaurant next door.
Restrictions: Volunteers must be 15 years or older and physically able to assist with fitness activities.


Young adult volunteers ages 22-40, participate in a 60-minute exercise class working through various adapted circuit routines. We’ll test our strength, endurance, and teamwork skills — and have a great experience and workout!
