Time: 11:00 AM-1:00 PM
Parking: Validated parking is available at The Grove. Please make sure to park in the parking structure and not in the Farmer’s Market parking.

Senior Prom

Address: 5870 W. Olympic Blvd., Los Angeles 90036
Time: 1:00-4:30 PM
Parking: Available in the lot behind the center.
Attire: Please feel free to dress as you would for your prom — although not required, the seniors love it!

Teens, join us at the Westside Jewish Community Center to dance the afternoon away with local senior citizens. Share food, photos, and dancing skills!

Heaven on Earth Society for Animals

Address: Perry’s Place, 7342 Fulton Ave., North Hollywood 90025
Time: 9:30 AM-12:00 PM
Restrictions: Volunteers must be at least 13 years old. Minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Each volunteer must sign a waiver or a minor waiver (if under 18 years old).
Parking: There is a very small parking lot on site, so we encourage carpooling. However, on the weekends there is typically plenty of street parking along Fulton Ave.
Allergy Warning: Since the facility cares for around 300 cats, there are higher levels of cat dander and dust. Volunteers with sensitivities to allergens may want to consider preventive treatment prior to arrival.

Volunteer with us at Heaven on Earth Society for Animals where their mission is to transform the lives of homeless cats through rescue, sanctuary, and a new beginning. We will help with various tasks to work with and care for these adorable animals including cleaning, feeding, and socializing with the cats.
