Michael Hackman

Michael Hackman is Founder and CEO of Hackman Capital Partners, a privately held real estate investment and operating company that focuses on commercial and industrial properties in major U.S. markets. Founded in 1986, Hackman Capital has completed more than $3 billion in real estate transactions across 41 states — having owned over 400 buildings totaling 35+ million square feet.

Michael is a member of The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles’ Real Estate Principals Organization and a proud participant, with his wife Caroline, in the organization’s Centennial Endowment Fund. In addition to his philanthropic support of numerous communal organizations here and in Israel, Michael is Chair of the AIPAC Los Angeles Real Estate Division, serves on the AIPAC National Council and the AIPAC Los Angeles Cabinet, and is a member of the AIPAC Tomorrow Endowment Campaign. He also is a past trustee for The Willows School in Culver City and Windward School in Los Angeles.

Michael grew up in Columbus, Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University in 1978. He then moved to Los Angeles to begin his career at Majestic Realty.

 

Jason Hariton

Representing the fourth generation of his family in the Los Angeles entertainment industry, Jason Hariton has spent his career working in the fields of studio operations, production real estate and design, producing and production management.

Jason is currently the Head of Worldwide Studio Operations & Production Real Estate for Netflix. In this role, he is responsible for global production and facility operations as well as real estate procurement and development for Netflix Studios.

Prior to Netflix, Jason was Senior Vice President of The MBS Group, a wholly-owned company of The Carlyle Group, where he led global operations and real estate for the largest provider of studio real estate development and management in the United States.

Jason has also provided specialized consulting services to a high-profile client base, including advisory services to governments and private businesses on production real estate infrastructure and incentive development projects worldwide: ranging from California, Louisiana and Hawaii, to Serbia, Jordan, South Africa, New Zealand and the Philippines. Projects covered all facets of production real estate acquisition, development and management, from valuation and conception through implementation and operation.

From 2008-2011, he served as appointed Advisor for Film & Media Industries to former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson. Jason is the outgoing Board President for the Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollywood Police Activities League, is a voting member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (Emmys) and is Co-Chairman of the Producers Guild of America’s FilmUSA Committee, the preeminent media industry advocate and authority on production infrastructure and incentives.

 

Rob Jernigan

Rob Jernigan is Co-Regional Managing Principal for Gensler’s Southwest Region. He is known to peers and clients as an accomplished architect, mentor, and community leader. Rob’s impact is evident in the renaissance of downtown L.A. as a live, work, and play neighborhood. He uses his expertise in design and city making to address the critical issues that affect the world today, such as developing housing solutions for the homeless. The AIA California Council awarded Rob its Presidential Citation for changing the face of architecture in L.A. Rob is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects. He serves on the boards of Gensler, the Los Angeles Business Council, Central City Association of Los Angeles, Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, Town Hall Los Angeles, World Trade Center Los Angeles, and the Jonathan Club.

 

Jonathan Anschell

Jonathan Anschell is Executive Vice President & Deputy General Counsel of CBS Corporation and Executive Vice President & General Counsel of CBS Television. At the corporate level of CBS, Jonathan oversees the corporate governance, securities, real estate, intellectual property, and labor and employment practice groups. In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Jonathan manages the legal affairs and standards and practices functions for CBS’ televised entertainment and news operations. Before he joined CBS, Jonathan was a partner in the Los Angeles law firm White O’Connor Curry, where he maintained a litigation practice focused on entertainment and media matters. Jonathan has been involved with The Jewish Federation for many years, including his current role as Co-chair of the King David Society, past service as board member, and former post as Chair of the Legal and Business & Professionals divisions.
