About Dr. Bonnie Goldstein
As a UCLA- and Harvard-trained psychologist and social worker, Dr. Goldstein teaches students at USC’s School of Social Work and founded the Lifespan Psychological Center, offering weekly therapy groups in West L.A. for groups of both young adults and parents in addition to training opportunities for clinical interns. Galvanized by traumatic experiences throughout L.A. over the past decades, including earthquakes, fires, and riots, Dr. Goldstein developed outreach programs for UCLA Extension, authored a book on guiding kids through natural disasters, and is currently the Southern California coordinator of the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute Trauma Trainings. As a nationally recognized speaker and consultant, she has been cited by the Los Angeles Times, Oprah Magazine, and Parenting magazine for her expertise.
